The state of Georgia's case mix reimbursement process has the following important dates. Please e-mail any corrections or comments to support@rugtools.com.

1. Last week of December-Department of Community Health (DCH) mails out the final CMI listing and rate letter for January, February and March, using the CMI from the September 30 point-in-time date.
2. January 31-Cutoff date for acceptance of MDS transmissions for inclusion in the CMI listing for the point-in-time date of December 31.
3. February 15-Department of Community Health (DCH) mails out the CMI listing for the December 31 point-in-time date. 
4. February 28-Cutoff date for payer source corrections to the CMI listing report for the December 31 point-in-time date.
5. Last week of March-Department of Community Health (DCH) mails out the CMI listing and the rate letter for April, May and June, using the CMI from the December 31 point-in-time date.
6. April 30-Cutoff date for acceptance of MDS transmissions for inclusion in the CMI listing for the point-in-time date of March 31.
7. May 15-Department of Community Health (DCH) mails out the CMI listing for the March 31 point-in-time date.
8. May 30-Cutoff date for payer source corrections to the final CMI listing report for the March 31 point-in-time date.
9. Last week of June-Department of Community Health (DCH) mails out the CMI listing and rate letter for July, August and September, using the CMI from the March 31 point-in-time date.
10. July 31-Cutoff date for acceptance of MDS transmissions for inclusion in the CMI listing for the point-in-time date of June 30.
11. August 15-Department of Community Health (DCH) mails out the CMI listing for the June 30 point-in-time date.
12. August 31-Cutoff date for payer source corrections to the CMI listing report for the June 30 point-in-time date.
13. Last week of September-Department of Community Health (DCH) mails out the CMI listing and rate letter for October, November and December, using the CMI from the June 30 point-in-time date.
14. October 31-Cutoff date for acceptance of MDS transmissions for inclusion in the CMI listing for the point-in-time date of August 31.
15. November 15-Department of Community Health (DCH) mails out the CMI listing for the August 31 point-in-time date.
16. November 30-Cutoff date for payer source corrections to the CMI listing report for the August 31 point-in-time date.
